To the parents of the members of our 2010/2011 DGS Mustangs Girls Basketball Teams, please join us on Monday night for our annual Meet the Team Night. While the teams are practicing for the upcoming season, the DGS Girls Basketball Boost-Hers Board would like to meet with you and welcome you to our basketball program. After our meeting, the players and coaches will join us for introductions and Coach O’Brien will have some final announcements.
At Meet the Team Night you will have the opportunity to learn more about the DGS Girls Basketball Boost-Hers program, volunteer on some of our committees, purchase spirit wear, and help us kick-off the season. With your help the Boost-Hers will be able to support all of our players and coaches and help make participating on our school’s basketball teams a very rewarding high school experience. This year’s membership fee is $50 per player for which the player will receive 1 reversible practice jersey, 2 DGS Basketball shooting shirts, and 1 personalized gym bag. Membership fees will be collected that evening and practice jerseys will be available for immediate pick up or can be purchased separately for $20. Please make your check payable to DGS Girls Basketball Boost-Hers and add the player’s name to it. For your convenience we will also collect and submit for you the District 99 Athletic Participation Fee which needs to be paid by November 15th. This year’s fee is $115 and a separate check can be made payable to Downers Grove South.
